The book “Eleven Minutes” (Paulo Coelho) tells the life story of an ordinary Brazilian girl. She lives in her dream to meet Prince Charming who will take her away. The whirlpool of events leads her to Switzerland with the illusion to become a model, a star. Instead, she becomes a prostitute. Her life, however, is not despicable – she is admired by her colleagues for her desire to understand her clients not only physically – she reads economics books, newspapers, political history papers; in short, she is educating herself. Her aspirations are reflected in her aura and a famous (and young) painter sees “her light”. The magic. And he comes to the club where she works.
The perfume is a representation of this knowledge of what one wants to do – of the plan that every woman has – to meet Prince Charming, or to become a prostitute (in any sense of the word). It is about the femininity (the tuberose absolute), about the strength (the leather accord), about the sparkle in the eyes (the litsea cubeba extracts), the “light” (the sparkling honey wax absolute), about Brazil (the mimosa absolute), about the multi-facet nature of Maria (the contrasts between the freshness and the darkness).
Composition: Tuberose, Leather, May Chang, Honey Wax, Mimosa
