O Alquimista

Paulo Coelho’s most famous book – The Alchemist – tells the story of a dream – of a following – of a boy becoming a man. The story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy, follows the long journey from his homeland of Spain to the northern parts of Africa in the pursuit of a treasure. Throughout this journey, Santiago meets strange people and explores new lands while following one direction – his dream.

The perfume is an evocation of the exotic lands and new experiences and people he meets on the way – the hot African sun (the deep and powerful amber), the beautiful gypsy woman (the sensuous rose absolute), the fervor for new experiences (the juicy dark plum) and growing up from a boy to a man with a dream (the dark tobacco absolute).
